Our Origin Story
A sister + a brother + an idea…
Designlogic was founded by sister and brother Jayne Walsh and Berenger Playford in 2003 as a unique design solution tailored specifically to the needs of large Australian and international organisations.
Jayne had worked in, and managed, internal design studios for large corporations for many years and noticed a gap in creative offerings available in the market. She had the idea to create an agency at the intersection of high-end, strategic brand firms and in-house design teams who knew organisations intimately and could work with agility.
Berenger originally trained in linguistics, language and education. Having lived in Japan for just on a decade—gaining experience in publishing, radio, teaching, translation and educational resource creation in Japanese—he was excited by Jayne’s idea and expanded it to include the idea of offering a multi-lingual solution that would cross borders and be attractive to corporations that work throughout Asia Pacific and around the world.
Today, Designlogic has grown into a thriving multi-channel, multi-lingual, digital design agency based in Pyrmont, Sydney, offering creative brand and content experiences to the audiences of their corporate clients across more than 30 countries with the help of over 60 amazingly talented team members whom they call their extended family.
