In 2023, Unisys celebrated 150 years of breaking barriers with innovative technology that transforms organisations. We partnered with them to craft a video that celebrates their rich history and generates excitement around this momentous occasion.
Our solution
Unisys has a rich history of innovating and pushing for the next breakthrough. We embraced the spirit of "breakthroughs" as the guiding principle. Through a dynamic blend of animation and storytelling, the video achieves the following:
It highlights key milestones. From the QWERTY keyboard to cutting-edge AI and cloud computing—each milestone is brought to life with historical visuals and impactful footage.
It creates a sense of momentum. The animation style utilises a ‘push’ effect, visually depicting how past innovations continue to impact the world today.
It ignites internal pride. By celebrating Unisys' achievements, the video fosters a sense of belonging and inspires employees to carry the torch of innovation forward.
By celebrating Unisys' past and present, the video paves the way for an even brighter future—one where the Unisys team continues to push for the next breakthrough.
150th anniversary mark animation
For the opening frame, we took the 150-year mark and created an animation where the numbers push each other into alignment, and the dates appear on either side.
Timeline animation
For the introduction section, we created a dynamic timeline showcasing 150 years of innovations.
Milestone storyboard
Each milestone is broken into two parts. We set the scene with historic photography followed by footage of the impact today.
Social media snippets
Each milestone has been designed to be easily adaptable into short, engaging social media clips, further amplifying the campaign's reach.
Animation style
To infuse dynamism into archival black and white stills, we created a ‘push’ animation style, playing on Unisys’ brand idea of pushing for the next breakthrough. This visually connects historical milestones with their lasting impact, conceptually aligning with Unisys’ future-focused vision.
Compelling voiceover
A powerful and emotive voiceover narrates the journey, connecting viewers to Unisys’ passion and vision .
